Rusted steel gutters
Here we have rusted steel gutters that were not only an eye sore, however, due to their age and corrosion, the damage extended to the structure of the home with the wooden fascia boards rotting due to water exposure.
Aalcan Guttering removed the former corroded materials and the debris that had built up and replaced them with Cottage Brown Ogee Gutter in continuous lengths so there are no joins, installed brand new wooden fascia boards that were damaging the structure of the roof line and covered them in Aluminium high gloss fascia cover.
The customer no longer has to worry about water damage to their home as the correct rainwater system has been tailored made to the exact needs of their property, and their home has been given a glossy face lift too!
Awning Replacement
Our customer called us to help them out with their tired old polycarbonate awning that they wanted to be replaced for both aesthetic reasons and also due to Sydney’s intense heat and High UV rays in summer, their outdoor living space was very uncomfortable to utilise as it had become affected by the sun, causing both holes to appear and the sun creating a sauna-like feel.
The structure was removed by Aalcan Guttering and replaced with Colorbond Steel, which our customers love as not only are they using their outdoor living area with great comfort with protection from the elements, the cream high gloss finish gives their home a clean new finish.
Leaf Screener
This stunning home in the Hills Area had a major problem with both their roof and gutters being blocked and weighed down by the leaves from the many trees on their rural property.
Our solution was to install a Leaf Screener to both the valleys of their enormous roof and also their guttering system. Custom made for their home, our customer no longer has to worry about their roof struggling with the weight of leaves, or their gutters from being blocked as debris slides over the top of the tightly meshed leaf screener making it impossible for dirt and tree discarded matter to settle on the surface.
Leaf Screener installed by AAlcan Guttering is also fire retardant, so during bushfires, fire embers can not get caught in areas protected with Leaf Screener.
Roof Restoration
Here we have our Ogee Gutter in Rivergum high gloss, colour bonded aluminium guttering and downpipes.
Aalcan carried out a roof restoration including re-bedding and pointing, replacement of roof Valleys and the installation of white aluminium fascia cover.
Our fascia cover is installed over wooden fascia that was previously warped and deteriorated by the sun, rain and elements. Not only protecting the property but creating an aesthetically pleasing face lift that the owners love!
Custom-made downpipes were individually manufactured to ensure the perfect fit guaranteeing durability and functionality.
Aalcan’s own manufactured, supplied and installed Ogee Gutter in one continuous length, meaning no joins for leaks, our customer chose high gloss white for their home. As with all of our rain water solutions, this product is Aluminium which means it will always remain rust free! Supply and installation of this product comes with 7 Year Workmanship Warranty and 25 Year Product Warranty.

Enhanced Curb Appeal
This was a referral job after we completed a roof restoration on the customers neighbours house. While the customer wasn’t in a fiscal situation to have a complete roof restoration carried out on their home, they called us to discuss ways we could give the property a face lift of sorts.
Previously, the home had tired looking white steel gutters that had stained due to rust and corrosion and were sagging from age, making the property look much older than its years. We came up with a solution for the customer to both increase the curb appeal of their home, as well as create a working rainwater system for the property. This involved the removal of the existing steel guttering, downpipes and their debris, replacing them with Aluminium Ogee Gutter in one continuous length, so there are no unsightly joins or possibility of leaks.The guttering was connected with double storey, custom made downpipes to ensure the rainwater flowed directly into the customer’s storm water drain and away from their roof and structural foundations.
Our customer was thrilled with the outcome as not only does their home have a shiny new polished finish in a colour that compliments their brickwork, they are safe with the knowledge that their property is protected from internal water damage, requires much less maintenance and the foundation of their home is no longer at risk of deterioration from excess moisture exposure. Improved aesthetics and a protective agent for their family home all in one!
Ogee Gutter, Fascia Cover & Gable Replacement
Our customer contacted us as they wanted a roofing and rainwater solution that both protected their property and required less maintenance with their guttering overflowing water in heavy rains and constant painting of their original wooden fascia boards and gables. Our solution was installing high back Aluminium Ogee Gutter ensuring a much higher capacity of water could be held, and not overflow whilst being directed to the new custom-made down pipes straight into the property’s rainwater drain in the ground. New wooden fascia board and gables replaced the warped and water-stained original materials, then both covered with Aluminium fascia cover and Aluminium barge cover, in colour chosen by the customer which means no more painting or maintenance for the customer. All materials are backed by our 25 Year Product Warranty and 7 Year Workmanship Warranty.
